(Why should I be Baptized)

 Everyone that professes to be a Christian should want to follow all God’s commandments. “And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.” (I John 2:3).

Listened below are some simple commandments of God’s that needs to be followed by every born-again Christian.

When should we be baptized ?

Please read:

1.      When you repent of your sins. (Acts 2:38).

2.      During the day time (Acts 8:35-38).

3.   Any time (Acts 16:14-15).

4.      At Midnight (Acts 16:25-33).

Who should be baptized ?

1.      “ Then they _________________were baptized. (Acts 2:41)

2.      “ Then ______________from Galilee to Jordan to be baptized of him.” (Matt. 3:13).

Why should you be baptized ?

1.      It shows a picture of death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus (Rom. 6:3-5).

2.      To fulfill all righteousness (Matt. 3:15).

3.      Because our Savior was (Matt. 3:16).

Only baptism by immersion pictures the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. If you refuse to be baptized (by immersion you are disobedient to God).                   James 4:17 says, “Therefore to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.”
