TRACT 2

GOD BLESS OUR WAY

“GOD BLESS OUR WAY,” I see this phrase everywhere especially in vehicles. I often wonder which way is the driver going. The Bible says that there are two ways a man can go, one is blessed of God and the other is not.

Let us take a look at these two ways. “Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction and many there be which go in thereat.      (Matt. 7:13-14). Maybe you were attracted by the cover of this tract and wondered why one road was straight and narrow with only one person on it: the other was wide with many on it. Maybe you even understand what it means, if not let me explain. These two roads are different roads of life. Man can only travel one of two roads. He can travel the wide road which most people in the world travel. The people on drugs, money, fame, power, and etc. They are not interested in the things of God. To them their God is something man made. They seek their happiness from things that will vanish away. The Bible says, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth; where moth and rust doth corrupt; and where thieves break through and steal.” (Matt. 6:19).

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven.” (Matt. 6:20a). Friends, God says, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Matt. 6:21).

I want to take this opportunity to ask you which way are you traveling on? Where are you storing your treasures? Are you on the straight and narrow road to Heaven or are you traveling on the broad road that most people take to destruction?

Are you one of those people who say, “God Bless Our Way”… when you are not even going in the same direction as God? Dear friends, do you really expect God to bless your way when it is opposite to His way? A way that is not keeping with His Holy Character?

Remember friends, there are only two roads to travel, which road are you traveling on? If you are not on the road to Heaven, you can be. The Bible says, “he that believeth on the Son of God hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36). This belief is HEART KNOWLEDGE and not HEAD KNOWLEDGE and this knowledge requires action! (Rom. 10:9). Friends, if you want to be traveling on that straight and narrow road to Heaven, you can be by praying this sinner’s prayer: “Lord forgive me of my sins. Come into my heart and be Lord and Savior of my life. I believe that you died for my sins, and I’m trusting in you Jesus to take me to Heaven when I die. Thank you dear Jesus for saving my soul from the pains of Hell. In Jesus I pray.” Amen.

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:5-6).
