Where  Is  'HEAVEN'  And 'HELL'  ?

Hell is a place where a person will never want to go.  If they are honest with themselves, they will always choose Heaven.  There are several things we need to remember about these two places, which are eternal. First, you cannot buy your way to heaven. Acts 8:20 say, “ But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God maybe purchased with money.”  Second, You cannot do anything to earn you a place in Heaven according to Ephesians 2:8,9, “For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourself; it is the gift of God. Not have works, lest any man should boast.” Third, You cannot buy your way out of Hell. “ And these shall go away into everlasting punishment; but the righteous into life eternal” Matthew 25:46.  Fourth, There is no way any one can cross from Hell to Heaven according to Luke 16:26,   “And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fix: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.” Fifth, Hell is given to them which neglect salvation according to Hebrews 2:3, “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him.”       

Is There Really A Place Called Hell?

Is there really a place that will burn with fire forever and never stop?  There are pastors and different religions in the world today, which say there is no real place called Hell.  I have heard them say that the fire spoken of in the Bible is a burning desire to be with God, and others say it is only a grave, while others say God is a God of love and will never send any one to such a terrible as Hell.  Friends, if you believe the Bible to be the true Word of God’s, then you must remove those thoughts from your mind today, because the Bible says then is indeed a place call Hell and it is just like the Bible describes it to be.  Hell is a fact and all the peoples of the world must be aware of it. .  

Where is Hell?

It is a place where to souls of man are removed from the presence of God forever according to,

 II Thessalonians 1:9, “ Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.”  Hell is truly a place of torture and punishment forever.   Luke 16:23 says,” and in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeing Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.”  I have heard many people ridicule the thought of Hell and say if there is a place like Hell, where is it?  Friends, the bible says Hell is below and Heaven is above.  Isaiah 14:9b says,   “Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming Ezekiel 32:27 says, “----which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war.” So we have learnt that Hell is down according to the Word of God.

Where is heaven?

Heaven is a place where God lives, according to Matthew 6:9, “---- Our father which art in heaven----”. II Corinthians 12:2 tells us a story about a man that when into the third Heaven.  First Heaven is where the birds fly.  Second Heaven, is where the clouds and stars are.  Third Heaven, is the location of God’s Throne according to II Corinthians 5:1 “ For we know that if our earthly home of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the Heavens.”  Heaven is the kingdom of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit according to Ephesians 5:5,  “ ----hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.”  Friends, you must remember that this verse does not say the home of any religious leader or any other person but our God and Savior Jesus Christ. John 14”2 says, “ In my Father’s house are many mansions” friends, please remember, if God is your Father, Heaven is your home also!  Lastly, Heaven is also paradise, “-----he was caught up into paradise.” II Corinthians 12:4.  This is what man dreams about and always long for.  If you will be honest with your self, Heaven is a place you think about and desire to go to for eternity.

Friends there are several characteristics, which we seek in this life Heaven is a place where there will be happiness and no more tears. “ For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters, and shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.” Revelation 7:17.   Yes friend, Heaven is a place where there will be no more crying, pain, suffering or unhappiness.  Yes, according Revelations 22:3-5 no more night, no need for the sun, or the moon, because our God will be our light and provider for eternity. In Revelation 21:16 you can read about no more hunger, never cold or hot again, yes a place of our dreams.

Who will be living in Heaven, or who will not be in Heaven.   

Revelation 20:10 tells us, that Satan cannot enter Heaven. Luke 12:23 tells that thieves cannot enter Heaven.  Revelation 21:8 says, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all lairs.”  , Will not be in Heaven but will have their part in Hell.        

Now, we have the question, who will be in Heaven?

Certainly God will be there, according to Matthew 6:9.  And we know that Jesus will be there, because He when they’re after the resurrection, Acts 3:21.   We know from Matthew18: 10 and 26:53 there will be angels and different creature there.  According to Matthew 17:3 there will be many people from the Old Testament times there, like Abraham, Moses, David, King Solomon, Isaiah, etc, etc.   I Thessalonians 4:14   

Tells us, that every person who has already died that believed in Jesus Christ, as his/her Savior will be in Heaven. “ For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.”    Friend, heaven is a place that is perfect in every way, a place that will satisfy the souls of mankind,  (Revelation 22:1,2).  It is a place that will never have sin, or a place where people will never see or experience sin again,  (Revelation 22:3).  It will be a great place to fellowship with the saints of old,  (Revelation 22:4).  It is a place, which has perfection, and a place where we will live as children of God’s forever. (Revelation 22:4)  “ ----his name shall be in their foreheads.” Finally it will be a place full of the glory of God and he will reign forever, (Revelation 22:5).

Would you like to spend eternity in Heaven?  Are you ready for Heaven according to the Bible?  Have you already made your plans to go there?  Remember, you can only make those plans in this life, before you die today is the day of salvation according to II Corinthians 6:2.   I want to challenge you to remember “James 4:14” Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow.  For what is your life? It is even as a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”
